Brittany's Story
For a long time, I genuinely didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. It was my own therapist who finally named it for me: what I loved were human stories—the way people tell them, the parts they leave out, and the versions of themselves they've been carrying since childhood. She suggested that becoming a therapist would place me right in the middle of that work. She was right.
I earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where my training was deeply grounded in depth and psychodynamic psychology. That foundation shapes how I practice. Rather than offering quick fixes, I focus on what is moving underneath the surface—early attachments, family patterns, and the subtle ways old relational dynamics repeat themselves. Real, lasting change tends to follow understanding.
I work with teens and adults, specializing in supporting women and LGBTQ+ individuals. I bring patience, warm curiosity, and a grounded presence to our work. I’ll laugh with you when something is funny, and I won't flinch at the hard parts. After navigating a family, a career change, and a fair amount of my own therapy, there is very little you could bring into the room that I haven't sat with in some form.
